A lot of people are familiar with the concept of the Law of Attraction, but if you aren’t, here’s a basic definition: like attracts like. Whether it be positive or negative thoughts, the more energy you put into them, the more of that same energy you’ll receive in other ways.
While it’s impossible to be happy all the time (because if you were, you’d be a game show host–thank you Veronica Sawyer), we can still try to practice gratitude in our daily lives. This is one of the most fundamental practices in spirituality, and finding even one thing in your life to be grateful for puts out good energy to be reaped later on.
This practice of gratitude can be done through a manifestation technique called scripting. Scripting is writing out the conditions of your ideal life as if they are happening in the present. I think of it as journaling for a parallel-universe-version of yourself.
